It's so hard to cope with 38+ days especially when the only source of air conditioning in your house resides solely in your parents bedroom. The fans struggle along with my pets who can't seem to make their mind up where they want to rest that would be less warmer for them. It's just too damn hard. Since I heard that yesterday's weather was going to be another one of those days, I asked Peter if we could check out Trentham Falls for a couple of hours and so, that we did.
On the ride there, I could feel the heat trying to penetrate the windows even if the air-con was turned full blast. But eventually we arrived and the place was a treat since there wasn't much of a walk to get there as Peter and I would now expect when taking walks towards that way. Though unlike winter and spring, there were quite a few people who had come to cool off and it was rather noisy. But I do believe that it is actually quite a small picturesque place when and if people aren't there by the dozen or more. Eventually, you couldn't feel the heat as there is a fair bit of shade since the trees and fauna hover around whilst there is a concave of clay and more rocks to climb and sit by behind the waterfall. We didn't go for a dip but our feet seemed more than satisfied by the touch of cold water which kept us cool for the time that we were there.
