A Day Older Yet None the Wiser

So it is expected that the older you are, the smarter and wiser you become. This only ever had to backfire on the day I should be celebrating my 19th birthday. Despite my silly remarks, I had such a lovely birthday and I just want to thank all the people that made my day even more better. I didn't want anything for my birthday so I'm glad I only received a couple of gifts that I adore so much. Some were very special things and some were flowers an roses and they were so pretty. 

Ink and I went to take pictures for the morning and they didn't turn out poorly as I expected because of the lack of sunlight at that point of the day. But here are some...

Perhaps Spring Visits

Every Monday I'm supposed to start posting outfit posts since it's my only "day off" of school... well sort of. And this wasn't edited until tonight. Excuse my poor skills of focusing because I don't ever look at the photos I've taken, I usually just take them and then leave to discontinue my further embarrassment of posing when cars are often driving past the bridge.

I received in this dress in the mail and was really excited to put it on. I had never bought anything online because as I've said, I'm very sketchy about sizing. I wasn't surprise to find that the size of the dress that I ordered was a size too big. But no matter, I'm quite bold enough to wear it in the size it came. I'm also too lazy to send it back because I'm not as patient when it comes to waiting, even waiting for the dress alone seemed as long as forever. I'll end up tailoring it myself so I'm not fretting so much. I love the lace and the cotton fabric used too. It's comfortable and isn't as itchy as I thought it looked when I opened my package. It's rather pleasant and I really enjoyed wearing it too.

Today has got to be the sunniest day that Melbourne has had in a long time. Not to mention, it's a warm day too. It's only just turned winter and a little bit of justice has been served at the most unusual time. Happy sunny day Melbourne!

Within The Eyes Of The iPhone Holder

Hi again,

This time I haven't failed to post something quick tonight. I bought a pretty cool app today which my best friend recommended over a brief conversation as we commented each other on our Instagram apps. It's called Mosaiq and I think it's pretty wicked and fresh for abstract photography. On Tumblr, earlier today I introduced my new section which I felt like calling 'What The Wear?' which obviously is inspired by this app. It's pretty much snapshots of the detailing of my outfit choices for the day. Hopefully this time,  this section may become accredited to future plans I guess. I also thought to use it for outfit posts but we'll see how that goes in the future also. 

Doh Ray And Mi ...

Just finished one of my favourite classes today. Music theory. So at the moment i'm recovering from the mind-blowing repetition of the Sohla's that our teacher is forcing us to drill straight to the core of our brains. I find it somewhat amusing to see a majority of students participate in a class ensemble, randomly created by the teacher. 

Since today is a little bit wet outside and a fair bit chilly also, I had to quickly put together an outfit that seems to look quite casual today. I was really hoping to  find something to coordinate with my red jacket and so darker shades seemed safer and quicker to make something with. Originally I was going to stick with just the jacket and the dress but my neck was feeling a little bit bare for the weather and I nonchalantly grabbed my mustard coloured scarf as first resort. Turns out my outfit is very striking and you could probably notice who I was from a fair distance away. Taking outfit pictures just after the rain didn't seem much of a good idea so I stayed inside the backyard where shelter was of close aid. This just meant that my dogs were roaming around whilst I was posing. Ruskii says hi. But only to me because she hates cameras. She gets frightened just by the sight of my phone so you could only imagine what goes through her head when she sees a Canon EOS with massive gadgets that my dad set up with it.

Oh and if you haven't realised, i've straightened my hair. I haven't done that in a fairly long time. I just can't be bothered wit the effort of doing it hence why my hair is usually tied up. But i wont be straightening it often. My layers aren't even which is why I feel extremely uncomfortable with straight hair at the moment

Since I'm still here, I'm going to be searching on 50's music for my History class.

It's my late class today and at the moment I've been aimlessly sitting and awaiting for class to start. I don't need to leave yet so I'm blogging. Another outfit post this week. Woah, I'm on a roll. I hope you've been interested in what i've been blogging. i've actually managed to post often and I'm having fun with it too. I just need more readers here, followers on tumblr, facebook, twitter and chictopia for people to be entertained. I like what I'm wearing today. Sunny Side Up

The weather seemed much cooler today than yesterday. But it began to brighten up once I was on my way home. My tortoise framed geek glasses came in the mail today. I tried to include it in today's outfit post but I hadn't planned on anything with it so my outfit co-ordination doesn't really show it off that much. I feel so nerdy and smart even though I already know that I am. My thrifted blouse I'm wearing I've actually posted about previously and I just cannot fathom enough how much of a great find this was and i don't plan on parting from it in any of the years ahead.

The Crash And Burn

Are the words 'mayhem' and 'hectic' similar to each other? Because somehow that's how I felt last night was for me. But anyways, I am quite happy to say that today was a steady day. I got to wake up late, took time to take some photos and get dressed and I didn't seem to dread cleaning my room either. It feels weird that I've got to wake up early tomorrow to catch public transport back to school in the morning for a 2 hour class.

 My best friend, Jeric had come over just after I finished getting ready and what-not and chilling for half the day was really cool. We got to catch up on each other, our goals, pet peeves and of course as close friends do, caught up on a little bit of gossip there. Guilty. It was awesome though. Plans about Moomba changed so instantly last night but I enjoyed myself either way.

If you didn't know, today's actually the first day of Fashion Week in Melbourne and I'm absolutely stoked about the Frankie Magazine Runway show that I could just afford for my Simone and I. It's not a long way until we have a taste of foreign textures, patterns and the styles that will be introduced to us. Did I mention that somehow we managed to be seated in row A? This suddenly makes me feel important as reserved seats await for us to be served with drinks, nibbles and high quality views of everything. We are so lucky and blessed to be going. This is like meeting your most favourite inspirations. I like that feeling.
