I haven't been called by the shop in Sydney about my black Lita's that I asked to be reserved for me so I went to have a look on Solestruck to see if they've filled up on their empty stock. Not only does their black one now come in my size, but I also found some pretty sexier Lita's that my mother also wants but I want to own first. Jeffrey Campbell, you're too good to me.

My Wondering Eyes

I have no money, strictly speaking, to buy some more dresses online because I'm still budgeting but there's nothing dangerous with putting things in my "watched items" list... is there? I'm really happy with what I've found from Ebay but they're not something I could afford altogether.

The Wind Will Not Change Me

It has occurred to me that since my awesome trip to New Zealand, reading my favourite blogs daily or "screen-shopping" online has become a big hazard for me. I've never actually bought an item of clothing online before because I become quite pedantic about sizing and fabrics used seeing as though I can't personally touch the item or try it on myself, making me venerable to purchasing something I'll completely regret shortly afterwards. So I took a hit and purchased a Dolly Denim Dress from Chic Wish online and I'm just really glad to let you know that I am NOT regretting this decision as of yet since I'm still newly in-love with it.

My feelings only ever arose when I was reading The Clothes Horse blog and her outfit post was with a gorgeous Beloved Peter Pan Horns Chiffon dress, also from Chic Wish. I was originally interested with the same dress but when I stumbled upon the one I purchased not too long ago, I thought it was too pretty to resist. And maybe then it wouldn't seem like I was trying to mimic Rebecca's look.

I'm glad that the Denim dress is all I have bought but after stumbling upon other items across the cheap land of Ebay worldwide, there are some more that I feel should be added to the list. It feels like abstinence, but only to clothes because it's just so difficult! I might consider buying something else NEXT time. So what do you think of this one?

Kings Who Didn't Matter

Today turned out to be a good day, therefore compensating for the lack of fun that I unluckily avoided during the weekend. I was also in a good mood and I was happy with the Boy today. He took me to see the King Tutankhamun Exhibition held at the Melbourne Museum. The Exhibition was sponsored and I do believe, is also run by National Geographic. It was an interesting exhibition and it only proved my point correct that the ancient Egyptians were crafty, talented, loyal and honourable. The displays were amazing with mostly golden-painted artefacts and vessels that were stored in chambers and tombs. The atmosphere was slightly eerie but being a fan of Nat-Geo, I was very much intrigued. I hadn't known much about how the ancient Egyptians ruled until today and with the boy constantly reminding me of the small details which he found fascinating, might I say, he is a "King Tut" fanatic as well. Shame, some artefacts are just too good to be moved from their place of origin because I was really looking forward to the king's actual coffin or "coffins" I should say as there were 5 layers of chest which contained 4 of his coffins, confined one inside the other.

For being a King who wasn't very important, congratulations on making history.

Being Alright

Ever had one of those days where you feel depressed and you just need to drink up and get your drunk on like crazy? Ha ha, well I haven't but if you did, your lame and a disappointed to yourself... in other words, shame on you. But actually, I have been having a terrible few weeks though since there have just been things I need to think about, people I need to talk to, things I need to keep to myself and everyday is beginning to feel like a whirlwind of emotions. There are things that I really want, but can never really have. Things I expect, but never occur. Things I want to say, but no one will listen. Things I've lost that I doubt I'll ever find again. Things that made me happy only make things worse. It's frustrating and to not have someone to tell the whole story to is so much more irritating because people are either too busy, too ignorant, too stupid, too forgetful or too scary to complain and whine to. But I get over things quickly.

Don't bother asking me if i'm okay because I'm most likely going to lie to you. Sometimes holding a hand and praying is what I really want to do. Holding a hand ensures me that I'll be okay. Sometimes it does so much more than a hug or a kiss. I'm glad I have someone to hold my hand.

Quirky Love: Colours of The Wind

I feel as if colour plays a role in my life even though colour itself is merely a shade naturally or artificially applied to the atmosphere and surrounding inanimate objects. Just like organisms, colour creates a fresh new life and brings anything to it's full potential. I don't know what it is about colour that makes me obsess so much, especially the bold ones. I believe this is the reason as to why I don't often have black in my closet [though I should since work demands it] but I try my best to have variety. For heavens sake, my own name is Blue!
